Solocast: The Power of Clarity

Sales strategy needs greater clarity, focus and a message which can be understood

It sounds very simplistic, but the first rule of sales (and of anything for that matter) is to be understood.

That’s my opinion anyway.

Put it another way, if you’re not making yourself understood in business development or sales, or whatever, then you start life on the back foot.

I run business development and sales training courses across Ireland and a recurring theme across many businesses is that sales ability is hardly ever the reason for sales failure – most people have a decent process in place and are relatively faithful to it.

The biggest issue is that the sales team don’t fully understand their full-value for customer, and as a consequence they re unable to communicate effectively that value to customers…
