Ireland’s best kept musical secret: Stendhal

Ireland’s best kept musical secret: Stendhal

This has been a good year musically for me, so far – I have been to a few memorable gigs including Nick Cave, Joan Baez, Franz Ferdinand and Underworld, (both courtesy of the underwhelming BBC Big Weekend…)

There is much to look forward to later in the summer – in particular the Stendhal Festival.

Since 2011 the Limavady based festival has grown from strength to strength – last years audience figure of 6,400 looks set to be eclipsed this year based on early ticket sales – and this years line up is nothing short of spectacular. (The Wailers…..yes…THEEE Wailers!)

In this podcast, I get to chat with Ross Parkhill, who along with over 150 volunteers, makes the Stendhal Festival a very special 2 day fun packed event.

Check out the podcast below on both iTunes and Soundcloud (BELOW) and more importantly check out the line up for this year and get your tickets right here – you can thank me later.
